A Meeting was held with the Director, TE & SCERT on 16th June 2012 where, the DE team was present. A presentation was made by Operations Director, DE Odisha, on the current status and future directions of the DE Program. Director TE & SCERT suggested a midpoint evaluation of the DE program through a third party agency. There was a stress on transitioning from Procurement model to an output oriented model as far as computer aided learning is concerned.
The Resource Centre Training Model, being piloted in Orissa, under the aegis of the “Digital Equalizer Program” is based on our past learning’s and sets a new benchmark, through an intelligent program design, based on a very focused and well defined strategy. The model is unique in the sense that it is completely embedded within the Government system and gets its energy and propelling force from the system itself. It is a fusion of the DE Classic Model and the Kerala ICT @ School Model.
